It has been quite some time, but as I recently stumbled over the hotel pictures on my hard drive, beautiful memories instantly came back to my mind. I knew I just had to acquaint you with this little gemstone of Southern hospitality and style, located centrally and in walking distance from most sightseeing spots in downtown Charleston.

Andrew Pinckney Inn has been established in two historic buildings and lies prominently in the heart of the historic district.

The boutique hotel offers only 41 rooms and suites and therefore can be called the perfect getaway for couples and honeymooners, residing in beautifully appointed accommodation in the popular British West Indies style.

Warm colors create a homely and cosy ambiance and each room seems to be more a private guest room rather than a hotel space.

A complimentary continental breakfast as well as afternoon refreshments are served on the rooftop terrace with impeccable views of the surroundings.

It actually felt like staying at a friend´s house when overnighting at the Andrew Pinckney´s. Even though it was only for one night, it felt like a week full of beautiful experiences and the warmth of true Southern hospitality.
