Food and travel belong together like Munich and the Oktoberfest. And while the majority of the world still thinks Germany as the Land of Sausage and Sauerkraut, some people just know better. Explore the modern style German cuisine on one of the country´s largest food festivals around: The Eat & Style.
If you love to travel and you even love more to eat and you do have a visit to my beautiful home country on your schedule, make sure to pay visit to this exciting venue for your palate and the senses.
Having debuted in Düsseldorf just a few days ago, the festival will open its doors next in Munich (27 – 29 October 2017), then Hamburg (17 – 19 November 2017) and finally climaxes in Stuttgart (24 – 26 November 2017).
Over 150 exhibitors will showcase everything about and around food and cuisine. You will have the chance to sample signature dishes with local influences from the respective partner cities in the newly established “Taste-it Area” or maybe participate and learn something new in one of the many workshops around exciting topics like Bar Mixology, Bakery & Confectionary hosted by Miele Backwelt, Sous-Vide Cooking powered by Miele, Coffee Lab or Wine&Style if you want to know everything about food pairing and wine selections.
World-class chefs, sommelièrs and food bloggers will present everything around what´s cooking hot in 2018, so you definitely should not miss out on this fantastic opportunity to combine sightseeing in Germany while broadening your gastronomical horizons.
I was lucky to participate in the “Munich City Menu” presentation held last week here in Munich in the Gesellschaftsraum, where we got to sample a few creations that will be waiting for you in the Zenith Hall, the impressive location for the Eat & Style 2017 here in Munich. Yummy!!!!
And if you book your ticket online, one Signature Dish is already included in the admission. That ain´t that bad, right?
So pack your bags and prepare for a weekend full of enjoyment and indulgence. And in combination with one of the most beautiful cities around the world, what else could be a better idea?
